Army foils infiltration attempt at Northern Military Zone

AMMAN — The Northern Military Zone on Sunday foiled an infiltration attempt by two people from Jordan into Syria, according to a source at the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF).
The source added that zone personnel applied the rules of engagement in such incidents and arrested the two who were referred to concerned authorities, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The source also added that the zone will “deal firmly” with any infiltration or smuggling attempt to safeguard citizens and the Kingdom.
