AMMAN — The Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army (JAF) said on Sunday that Iran targeted Jordanian territory within the past 24 hours with two missiles and two drones.
In a joint statement with the Public Security Directorate (PSD), JAF Media Directorate said that the Royal Jordanian Air Force successfully intercepted two Iranian missiles and two drones aimed at various sites inside the Kingdom, downing them with “precision and efficiency.”
PSD said that its relevant units responded to 18 reports over the past day regarding falling debris and projectiles, adding that no injuries were reported, except for some material damage.
It also reiterated a warning to the public against gathering, approaching, or tampering with any suspicious objects, stressing the importance of adhering to the instructions issued by official authorities.
Police also called on the public to report any suspicious objects or incidents to security services by dialing the emergency number 911.
