Army chief visits Special Royal Guard Command, military courts

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Tuesday visited the Special Royal Guard Command, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Briefed on the work entrusted to them, Huneiti met with the guards, conveying His Majesty King Abdulla, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), greetings and expressing his pride in their efforts.

Huneiti also visited military courts and was briefed, in the presence of a number of senior officers of the JAF, on the role played by the military courts, the tasks and duties assigned to them, the achievements they have reached, and the challenges they face, in addition to proposals for the development of military courts.

The army chief toured various departments of the military courts, praising the distinguished level of professionalism among military courts personnel in dealing with various cases. Huneiti conveyed His Majesty King Abdullah’s greetings to the military courts personnel.
