Army chief visits Prince Talal Mechanised Battalion/5

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Sunday visited Prince Talal Mechanised Battalion/5, one of the Eastern  Military Zone units.

Received by the zone’s commander, Huneiti listened to a briefing on the tasks and duties of the brigade and the progress on its operational, training and administrative operations, notably the mechanisms to counter smuggling and infiltration, as well as the battalion's future plans, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Huneiti also met with personnel of the brigade and conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army.
