Army chief visits 3rd Princess Basma Mechanised Battalion

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen.Yousef Huneiti on Sunday visited the 3rd Princess Basma Mechanised Battalion, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

During the tour, he affirmed that the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) will continue to develop JAF’s unit system, enhance and modernise its defence capabilities.

Huneiti conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah on the occasion of Jordan’s centennial and the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan, expressing his pride in the efforts exerted by the leaders of the Eastern Military Region in defending the Kingdom.
