Army chief, UK armed forces official talk cooperation

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Wednesday met with UK Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Armed Forces James Heappey over the latest regional and international developments.

In the presence of British Ambassador Bridget Brind, UK defence attaché and high-ranking officers of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, Huneiti and Heappey discussed cooperation and coordination in the military training field and means to develop them in way that serves both countries’ armies, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
