Army chief thanks donors to fallen officers’ fund

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat on Thursday sent a letter to the Zarqa Chamber of Trade and Travel One Tours’ boards of directors, thanking them for donating to the fund supporting the families of army and security officers who died in the line of duty, according to Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The fund, launched by His Majesty King Abdullah, received JD10,000 from the Zarqa Trade Chamber and JD15,000 from the travel company.
