Army chief receives US delegation

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Wednesday met with Director of the Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) Department for the Defence Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Robert Pope and an accompanying delegation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed bolstering cooperation and coordination in various military, operational, training and logistical fields, in service of the interests of the armed forces of the two countries.

The meeting was attended by a number of senior officers of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army.
