Army chief receives Lebanese envoy, Qatari commander

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Tuesday received Lebanese Ambassador to Jordan Tracy Chamoun.

Huneiti discussed with the ambassador aspects of cooperation and coordination and mechanisms to enhance bilateral relations on the military level, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Also on Tuesday, Huneiti received Commander of the Qatari Military Police Brig. Gen. Rashid Muhammad Al Hajiri.

Huneiti and Al Hajiri discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in service of the interests of the two countries’ armed forces, Petra, reported.
