Army chief receives commander of US Central Command

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti received the commander of the US Central Command, Lieutenant-General Kenneth McKenzie, and an accompanying delegation on Sunday at Marka Military Airport.

The two sides discussed the latest regional and international developments, coordination in joint military training, and ways to enhance bilateral relations to serve the interests of the armed forces of both countries, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

At the end of the meeting, which was attended by several senior officers of the Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army, both sides exchanged shields and souvenirs.
