Army chief receives Austrian military delegation

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat on Wednesday received Austrian Chief of the General Staff Maj. Gen. Robert Brieger and an accompanying delegation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The two sides addressed regional and international developments, in addition to efforts to enhance cooperation, coordination and relations between the two countries’ armed forces.

The meeting was attended by Austrian Ambassador to Jordan Oskar Wüstinger.
