Army chief meets with US military delegation, British ambassador

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj, Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Tuesday met with a US military delegation headed by the Commander of the Colorado National Guard Brig. Gen. Laura Clellan, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

In the presence of a number of senior officers of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) Huneiti discussed the latest regional and international developments, and joint cooperation and coordination in the field of military training. He stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations to serve the interests of the armed forces in the two countries.

Huneiti also met with British Ambassador to Jordan Bridget Brind to discuss bolstering cooperation to serve military interests of both countries. The meeting was attended by JAF senior officers and the British defence attache in Amman.
