Army chief meets US general, secretary general of anti-terror alliance

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat on Tuesday met with Secretary General of the Islamic Military Alliance Lt. Gen. Abdul Ilah Bin Othman Al Saleh and an accompanying delegation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

During the meeting, attended by HRH Prince Feisal, Freihat and the delegates discussed regional and international developments. Also on Tuesday, Freihat received Lt. Gen. Austin Miller, commander of the US Joint Special Operations Command. Talks covered regional and international issues, as well as means for further military cooperation.
