Army chief meets with Iraq defence minister

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. General Mahmoud Freihat on Saturday received Iraqi Defence Minister Irfan Mahmoud Al Hayali and an accompanying delegation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

During the meeting, Freihat and Hayali discussed the latest regional and international developments as well as scopes of cooperation and coordination on issues of mutual concern to the armed forces of both countries.
