Army chief meets with CENTCOM commander

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Monday met with Commander of the US Central Command Lt. Gen. Michael “Erik” Kurilla and the accompanying delegation.
The two sides discussed bolstering military cooperation, coordination and bilateral ties to serve the interests of the two countries’ armed forces, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Kurilla highlighted the significance of relations between the two armed forces and their continuous cooperation, stressing the two sides’ keenness to expand military cooperation.
Kurilla also visited the Command of Exercise Eager Lion, underlining the importance of this exercise as a valuable opportunity to exchange expertise among participating countries, calling to make the most of the 2022 exercise.
