Army chief meets British counterpart

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Gen.

Mashal Al Zaben on Wednesday received Chief of the Defence Staff of the British Armed Forces Gen.

Sir Nicholas Houghton.

Discussions covered ways to boost cooperation between the two armies.

Houghton arrived in Jordan on Tuesday on an official visit during which he is scheduled to visit military locations and joint projects.
