AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Wednesday received Kuwaiti Army Chief of the General Staff Lt. Gen. Khaled Daraj Al Shuraian and an accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance military and defence cooperation between the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) and the Kuwaiti Armed Forces, as well as mechanisms to further develop their strategic partnership in the service of the mutual interests of both countries, according to a JAF statement.
Huneiti underscored the deep-rooted ties between Jordan and Kuwait, highlighting their importance in promoting regional security and stability.
For his part, Al Shuraian reaffirmed the Kuwaiti Armed Forces' commitment to expanding military cooperation and exchanging expertise with the JAF.
The meeting was attended by the Kuwaiti military attaché in Amman and a number of senior JAF officers.
