Army chief discusses military cooperation with French commander

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Gen. Mashal Al Zaben on Thursday received Rear Admiral Antoine Beaussant, commander of the French joint force in the Indian Ocean, and an accompanying delegation and discussed cooperation between the Jordan Armed Forces and the French army.
HRH Prince Feisal attended the meeting, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
France has agreed with Jordan to deploy six of its fighter jets in the Kingdom as part of its participation in the US-led international coalition against terrorist groups.
