Army chief, Cyprus ambassador talk military cooperation

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti and Cyprus Ambassador to Jordan Michalis Ioannou on Monday discussed means to enhance military cooperation and coordination in the interest of both countries’ armies.

Such meetings are held as part of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army’s endeavours to enhance the efficiency and preparedness levels of its personnel through cooperation and coordination with armies of other countries, and to contribute to realising international peace and security, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
