Army chief, Chinese ambassador discuss military cooperation

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti and Chinese Ambassador to Jordan Chen Chuandong on  Thursday went over means to enhance military cooperation between the two countries and coordination at all military levels, in addition to exchange of expertise in training.

Huneiti referred to the “deep-rooted” ties between Jordan and China and the level of cooperation in various military fields, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The Chinese ambassador highlighted the importance of ties between both countries’ armed forces and their continuous cooperation, referring to both sides’ keenness to further enhance military cooperation.
