Army chief attends Mutah graduation

AMMAN — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Monday attended the 31st graduation ceremony of Mutah University’s military wing.

During the ceremony, JAF Mufti Brig. Gen. Majed Darawsheh congratulated the graduates, describing them as “the grandchildren of Mutah, Karama, Latrun and Bab Al Wad”, highlighting their role in maintaining the country’s security and stability.

President of Mutah University Thafer Sarayrah lauded His Majesty’s continuous efforts to support the university, expressing gratitude towards the university’s supporters, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

During the ceremony, attended by top officials and high-ranking officers, Huneiti presented prizes and certificates to top-achievers.
