Army chief attends military drill

AMMAN — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Tuesday attended a military drill conducted by personnel from the Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Brigade/Quick Reaction Force.

Huneiti was briefed on the various stages of the exercise, which included simulations of field operations, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Huneiti conveyed His Majesty’s greetings to the brigade's officers, reaffirming the King’s pride in the brigade's distinguished level and proficiency.
