AMMAN — The Cabinet has decided to treat Arab tourists as Jordanians in terms of fees paid to enter the Kingdom’s museums and archaeological sites between May 1 and December 31, 2021, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Nayef Fayez on Sunday said that the Cabinet's decision comes to stimulate inter-Arab tourism and increase tourist groups visiting the Kingdom from Arab countries, Petra reported.
The decision reflects "positively" on Jordan's tourism sector and contributes to activating the tourism movement amid plans aimed to reach a safe summer in the Kingdom in the coming period, according to the minister.
