Arab sentenced to prison for illegally bringing weapons into Jordan

AMMAN — The State Security Court (SSC) on Wednesday sentenced an Arab to seven-and-a-half years in prison after he was found guilty of bringing in weapons into the country.
The SSC ruled that his brother was not guilty.
The defendant and his brother were detained at the border after customs officers found 31 pistols with ammunition clips and pistol-cleaning tools in their luggage.
