Arab nationals caught smuggling weapons, drugs on boat

AMMAN — Royal Naval Force personnel foiled an attempt by a speedboat to illegally infiltrate Jordanian waters from a neighbouring state at dawn on Wednesday, according to a Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) source.

The infiltrators were found in possession of automatic weapons and large quantities of narcotic pills and hashish, a JAF source said.

The two Arab nationals were referred to the concerned agencies along with the items seized, the source added.
