Aqaba receives 70,000 visitors during eid holiday

AMMAN — During Eid Al Fitr holiday, Aqaba received 70,000 local and foreign visitors, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Wednesday. Director of Media and Communications in the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority Abdulmuhdi Katamine said that the hotel and apartment occupancy rate reached 75 per cent and that 11,917 vehicles entered Aqaba during the holiday.
