AMMAN — Approximately 620,000 citizens have activated the digital ID, minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship (MODEE) Ahmad Hanandeh said. Speaking in a plenary session organised by Jordan Strategy Forum on Tuesday,Hanandeh said that MODEE is working with all stakeholders from private and public sectors to realise digital transformation and automation of all governmental services by end of 2025, Petra News Agency said.
The infrastructure in Jordan is advanced and well prepared for digital transformation and MODEE’s aim is to upgrade all public institutions’ infrastructure for this purpose, the minister said. "By 2025 three public data centres will be fully operational to serve the Kingdom."
