Anti-Vagrancy Department arrests 197 beggars during eid holiday

AMMAN — A total of 197 beggars were arrested by the Anti-Vagrancy Department during Eid Al Adha holiday, according to the Ministry of Social Development. Of the arrested beggars, 46 were male and 56 were female, while a total of 54 males and 41 females of the arrested were juveniles between the ages of seven and 18 years, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
