Anti-narcotics police seize 30,000 pills at Omari

AMMAN — Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) personnel have seized 30,000 narcotic pills hidden in gallons in the shipment yard at Al Omari Border Crossing, the Public Security Department (PSD) said on Saturday.
AND agents found a “suspicious-looking” bag in the yard containing three gallons of pills, according to a PSD statement, which added that an investigation was under way to identify the suspects.
