AND arrests 8 suspected drug dealers in Ajloun, 1 in Southern Badia

AMMAN — Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) personnel have arrested eight suspected drug dealers in Ajloun in possession of various amounts of drugs and marijuana saplings, counterfeit currencies and a weapon, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported, citing a statement from the Public Security Directorate.

AND personnel also arrested a suspected drug trafficker in the Southern Badia after receiving a tip confirming that he was in possession of narcotics for sale, the spokesperson said.

The suspect was arrested in possession of drugs and a weapon after he resisted security personnel, according to the PSD statement.
