AMMAN — Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) personnel on Thursday carried out a special security campaign against drug traffickers in the capital.
A spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that several raids were carried out, and three suspected drug dealers were arrested, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The official said that the first suspect was arrested in possession of eight palm-sized sheets of hashish, and unspecified quantities of marijuana and cocaine, while the second arrested was in possession of narcotic pills and pieces of hashish intended for sale, along with a weapon.
The spokesperson added that the third suspect was apprehended for possessing various narcotic substances prepared for sale.
