AND agents arrest 24 for possession of narcotics, firearms

AMMAN — The Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) arrested 24 suspected drug dealers across the Kingdom, the Public Security Department (PSD) said on Saturday.

The AND found large quantities of various narcotics with the suspects along with firearms, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

A PSD spokesperson said that the suspected drug dealers who were arrested during the AND security campaign were from Amman, Irbid, Ramtha, Mafraq, Balqa, Maan and Central Badia.
