Amusement park ordered closed after death of 13-year-old boy

AMMAN — The prosecutor general office has ordered the detention of three people, who are the owners and employees of an amusement park, after a child fell off a ride and died.
The Public Security Directorate (PSD) spokesperson on Sunday said that relevant agencies on Saturday received a report about the incident in which a 13-year-old boy fell off a ride at an amusement park in Amman’s Muqabalin neighbourhood, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The boy was rushed to hospital, and was announced dead later, the spokesperson added. The prosecutor general ordered the closure of the park, Petra added.
