Amman-Zarqa Bus Rapid Transit to be implemented

AMMAN — The Council of Ministers on Sunday approved a decision to implement the Amman-Zarqa Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing.

During a meeting, the Cabinet also decided that the Land Transport Regulatory Commission will be responsible for regulating operations of the BRT lines once the project is completed. The cost of the project is estimated to reach JD110 million.
