Amman, Washington discuss municipal cooperation

AMMAN — Amman Mayor Aqel Biltaji met on Sunday with US Ambassador to Jordan Alice G. Wells to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between Amman and Washington in the municipal and cultural fields.

Biltaji reviewed the Greater Amman Municipality’s current projects and future plans to serve residents and visitors. Wells voiced the US government’s readiness to enhance joint work and expand the range of expertise exchange in all fields.

Discussions also covered activating the twinning agreement between Amman and Cincinnati.
