Amman municipality to mark King Hussein’s birthday

AMMAN — The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) said Thursday it will hold a ceremony on Saturday to commemorate the birthday of His Majesty the late King Hussein, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The ceremony will be at 10am at Al Hussein Park. King Hussein was born on November 14, 1935. He died at the age of 63 on February 7, 1999 following a battle with cancer.
