AMMAN — With the aim of supporting innovation in Agroforestry systems, the National Agricultural Research Center (NARC), the Regional Forest Agency for Land and Environment of Sardinia (Fo.Re.S.T.A.S.) and the LIVINGAGRO Consortium announced the opening of registration for two brokerage events that will take place at the Movenpick Hotel in Amman.

The “Brokerage event to foster innovation in Multifunctional Olive Systems” will be held on the 13th of December 13, and the “Brokerage event to foster innovation in Grazed Woodlands” will be held on December 15 of December 2022.

The events represent an opportunity to emphasise the growing socio-economic role of agroforestry in olive groves and grazed woodlands for countries around the Mediterranean basin, according to a statement from the organisers.

Entrepreneurs, local administrators, researchers, private companies, policy makers and multiple stakeholders interested in agroforestry issues, especially those related to olive systems and grazed woodlands, are invited to register and attend the event.
