Amman Council president, Moroccan ambassador discuss cooperation

AMMAN — President of the Amman Governorate Council Ahmad Abdallat on Sunday met with Moroccan Ambassador to Jordan Mohammad Nasseri to discuss bolstering cooperation in all fields.
Highlighting the strength of Jordanian-Moroccan relations, Abdallat voiced keenness to maintain communication in areas of shared interest. Abdallat pointed to Morocco’s process of decentralisation in 1975 as a model for other countries to follow and also noted the upcoming coordination between the Amman Governorate Council and the Rabat Region Council.
Nasseri underlined the distinguished historical relations that bind the two countries, stressing the benefit of exchanging expertise for both countries.
