American journalists, bloggers touring religious sites in Kingdom

AMMAN — A delegation of North American journalists, bloggers and photographers specialised in religious tourism on Sunday met with Amman Mayor Aqel Biltaji, as part of a tour of the Kingdom to see its tourist attractions.
The delegates’ visit to the Greater Amman Municipality is part of a joint programme between the Jordan Tourism Board and Royal Jordanian, which aims to promote the Kingdom’s Christian religious sites, history and culture, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The delegates praised the Kingdom’s moderate stances, and its Islamic-Christian culture that enhances security and peace among citizens of different beliefs and origins.
