AMMAN — The American Chamber of Commerce in Jordan (AmCham-Jordan) on Tuesday held a workshop on reducing export risks, addressing issues pertaining to intellectual property, contracts, agreements and payment.
The workshop discussed the top risks Jordanian exporters and importers face when dealing with their international peers, mainly in the food sector, which is considered a priority for the national trade coalition, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Former minister of industry and trade Tareq Hammouri praised the chamber's efforts in linking Jordanian and US merchants and acquainting them with items of the free trade agreement between the countries.
