Ali urges officials to boost market monitoring as Ramadan approaches

AMMAN — Industry, Trade and Supply Minister Maha Ali on Sunday urged heads of directorates in governorates to intensify monitoring measures on markets before and during Ramadan, and to ensure that stocks of essential goods cover expected rise in demand, a ministry statement said.

During her meeting with directors of ministry’s departments in governorates, Ali said the monitoring of the market aims at preventing price manipulation.
