ALECSO director general visits Jordan Museum

AMMAN — Director-General of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organisation (ALECSO) Mohamed Ould Amar on Saturday visited the Jordan Museum, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

According to a museum statement, Ould Amar toured the museum’s exhibitions, accompanied by Acting Secretary General of the Ministry of Culture Ahmad Rashid.

Ould Amar was acquainted with a number of works that express human creativity throughout history in Jordan. Expressing his admiration for the museum and its unique exhibits, he praised the advanced level and diversity of means of display in the museum halls.

The tour comes as part of a programme prepared by the Ministry of Culture, within the framework of Ould Amar’s visit to the Kingdom to discuss a number of cultural issues.
