Ajloun house fire extinguished, no injuries

AJLOUN — Civil Defence Department (CDD) personnel on Thursday extinguished a house fire in the northern town of Ain Jana.

Firefighters rescued a family that was trapped in the house and no one was injured, according to Ajloun CDD Director Col. Hani Smadi.

He said several items in the house were damaged in the fire. The family members were taken to Al Iman Hospital and an investigation committee was formed to identify the cause of the fire, Smadi added.
