Activists march in protest against Prophet cartoon

AMMAN — Activists participated in a peaceful march in downtown Amman on Friday to protest against the recent publication of a cartoon depicting Prophet Mohammad by a French magazine.

During the march, which started from Al Husseini Mosque after noon prayers, participants called for speeding up reform and rooting out all forms of corruption, and chanted slogans condemning the French magazine.

The march, in which members of the Muslim Brotherhood and popular movements participated, ended at Al Nakheel Square in Ras Al Ain.
