AMMAN — Minister of Public Works and Housing and Minister of Transport Ahmad Maher Abul Samen on Tuesday met his Egyptian counterpart Kamel Al Wazir and discussed advancing bilateral cooperation in the transport field. During a meeting on the sidelines of the Council meetings of Arab Transport Ministers held in Alexandria, Abul Samen expressed appreciation of Egypt’s efforts to ease transport-related challenges among Arab countries.
Wazir lauded Jordan's role in bridging Arab countries' views in order to adopt modern transport policies, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Abul Samen on Wednesday met Rumaih Al Rumaih, Saudi deputy minister of transport and logistic services and president of Transport General Authority, with talks focusing on the necessity of easing measures at border crossings between kingdoms. They also discussed introducing the latest systems meant to increase passenger capacity and overall efficiency, Petra added.
