Abu Hassan calls for standardisation of domestic violence services

AMMAN — Social Development Minister Reem Abu Hassan on Tuesday called on national institutions involved in family protection issues to commit to and adopt the document of accreditation standards and quality control of services presented to victims of domestic violence.
The document, which the Cabinet endorsed on Sunday, aims to provide a set of qualitative standards for services provided to domestic violence victims.
The document was prepared by the National Council for Family Affairs, the social development and planning ministries, and institutions involved in family protection.
