AMMAN — Minister of Public Works and Transport Minister Maher Abu Al Samen, stressed the need to finalise the new Amman Customs Centre, whose completion rate reached about 93 per cent, in the first quarter of 2023.
This came during an official visit to several projects in Amman and Balqa, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The minister stressed that the project will reflect positively on investment in all fields, contribute to stimulating trade with neighbouring countries, and provide job opportunities, in addition to alleviating traffic congestion in eastern Amman.
With an area of 88,000 square metres, the project includes nine buildings.
Abu Al Samen instructed those concerned to provide periodic detailed reports on the progress of work in the project and solve all obstacles hindering the flow of work.
