Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation withdraws book after ‘baseless’ allegations

AMMAN — Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation on Sunday decided to withdraw one of its books amid “baseless” accusations claiming that the foundation seeks to destroy morality through allegedly promoting homosexuality.
In a statement, the foundation noted that one of its specialised teams held a meeting on Sunday and re-examined the content of the book.
In regard to the book’s written content, the team members concluded that no words hinted, even remotely, to anything related to homosexuality.
