Abbas briefs Jordan’s ambassador on Gaza

AMMAN — Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Wednesday briefed Jordan’s Ambassador in Palestine Khaled Shawabkeh on the situation in Gaza and the efforts exerted by the Palestinian delegation in Cairo to reach a lasting ceasefire.

The meeting also covered the attacks against Al Aqsa Mosque by Jewish extremists and the Jordanian-Palestinian coordination to stop them.
