AMMAN — A total of 924 people visited the tombs of Prophet Mohammad’s companions in the Southern Mazar in June from Jordan and Arab countries, Mohammad Sarairah, the supervisor of the shrines, said Sunday.

The shrines of the prophet’s companions who died in Mutah Battle witness steady religious tourism from inside and outside the Kingdom, due to the stability and security of the country, Sarairah added, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. The shrines house the tombs of Jafar Bin Abi Taleb, Zeid Bin Haretha and Abdullah Bin Rawaha.
